Abbottabad: Following concerns raised by the business community over difficulties caused by the one-way traffic plan in Abbottabad city, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hazara has decided to end the plan and restore the previous traffic route. According to details, traders’ representatives, including Supreme Leader Naeem Awan, Ishtiaq Awan and Waqas Hussain, met with the DIG Hazara and highlighted the problems faced by shopkeepers, business activities and the general public due to the new traffic arrangement. They urged the authorities to reconsider the plan and restore the previous traffic route. Taking the traders’ demands into consideration, the DIG Hazara decided to withdraw the one-way traffic arrangement and reinstate the old route. The decision is being seen as an important development for the local business community, with traders and residents hoping that the restoration of the previous system will help ease traffic-related difficulties and support commercial activities in the city.
