Fact-Checking Policy

Fact-Checking Policy

At Mansehra.com, accuracy and credibility are at the core of our journalism. We are committed to verifying information before publication and maintaining transparency in our reporting.

1. Verification Process

Before publishing any news article, our editorial team:

• Reviews information from credible and reliable sources

• Confirms facts through official statements, press releases, or verified reports

• Cross-checks information when multiple sources are available

Whenever possible, we prioritize primary sources such as government announcements, official spokespersons, and direct communications.

2. Source Standards

We aim to clearly identify sources of information within our reports.

Anonymous sources may only be used when:

• The information is in the public interest

• The source requests confidentiality

• The editorial team verifies the credibility of the source

3. Updates and Corrections

News is dynamic, and information may evolve over time. If new verified information becomes available after publication, we update the article accordingly.

If a factual error is identified, we:

• Correct it promptly

• Clarify the update where necessary

• Maintain transparency with our readers

4. Handling Misinformation

We do not intentionally publish rumors, unverified claims, or misleading information.

Content found to be inaccurate or misleading will be reviewed and corrected or removed when necessary.

5. Reader Feedback

We encourage readers to report any potential inaccuracies.
